There are many ways to help the Weims in need besides being a foster home. We participate in many programs & events throughout the year to help raise funds for the rescue. Learn more about these programs below:
Kroger Community Rewards Program: Kroger Community Rewards (KCR) makes supporting community organizations as simple as shop, scan and earn! If you have a Kroger Plus card all you have to do is register for the community rewards program (and select Weim Friends Rescue as your organization) and a percentage of each of your shopping trips will be contributed to Weim Friends Rescue every time your card is scanned. There is no cost to you & you do not lose any points for your shopping discounts (including gas discounts). Registering is as simple as updating the Community Rewards field on your My Account page with the information of the organization you wish to support. You can select “Weim Friends Rescue” as your organization that you wish to support.
Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon: We volunteer during the first weekend of every May at the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. In return for our volunteer hours, The Flying Pig organization makes a contribution to our rescue. If you are interested in joining us please contact us at weimfriendsrescue @ gmail.com
Barnes & Noble Holiday Gift Wrapping: We gift wrap for donations during the month of December at a local Cincinnati Barnes & Noble store. If you are interested in joining us please contact us at weimfriendsrescue @ gmail.com

Support Weim Friends Rescue simply by walking your dog! Use the “Walk for a Dog” app each time you grab for the leash. It’s healthy for you, your dog, and your favorite shelter or rescue. Install the free Android or iPhone “Walk for a Dog” app, and start taking your Walk for a Dog every day. You can change the shelter or rescue you are walking for in the setup tab of the app for iPhone users, or in the settings menu for Android users. Just go to “Ohio” and select “Weim Friends Rescue.” For every mile logged, Wooftrax will make a donation twice a year to our organization.
